PAKISTAN TO PARTICIPATE IN DSA 2008

KUALA LUMPUR, April 15 (Bernama) -- Pakistan's defence industry will have one of the biggest presence in the Defence Services Asia 2008 (DSA 2008) exhibition which will be held here from Apr 21-24.

In a statement here today, the Pakistan High Commission here said its industry would introduce a wide variety of defence products.

"Among them are infantry weapons, personal defence weapons, artillery ammunition, tank and anti-tank ammunition, airCraft and anti-aircraft ammunition, hand grenades, small arms ammunition, pyrotechnics and demolition store and propellants and explosives," it said.

DSA is the largest defence and security exhibition in the Asia-Pacific region. About 600 local and foreign companies from 40 countries will take part in the exhibition which is expected to attract over 20,000 visitors. -- BERNAMA
